Enjoy a story in the great outdoors! St. Louis Public Library is working with community partners to place Storybook Walks throughout St. Louis. Take in a great story as you enjoy a walk.

Ruth Porter Mall Park Storybook Walk

The Storybook Walk in Ruth Porter Mall Park, a partnership with Great Rivers Greenway! You can find the Storybook Walk heading north from the intersection of Delmar Blvd and DeBaliviere Ave.

Want to request a storybook walk? Schools and community organizations can fill out this form.

April
The April Pop-Up Storybook Walk will feature the book "This Class Can Save The Planet" by Stacy Tornio. This Storybook Walk will be located at Buder Elementary School.

May
The May Pop-Up Storybook Walk will feature the book "My Grandfather's War" by Glyn Harper.
This Storybook Walk will be located at the Soldier's Memorial Military Museum.

August/September
The August/September Pop-Up Storybook Walk will feature the book "School's First Day of School" by Adam Rex.
This Storybook Walk will be located at Froebel Elementary School.

October
The October Pop-Up Storybook Walk will feature the book "A Park Connects Us" by Sarah Nelson.
This Storybook Walk will be located in Lindenwood Park.
