St. Louis Public Library’s Not So Quiet! Live On Olive welcomes Rearview Mirror-a tribute to Pearl Jam

As iconic as The Doors, as complicated as Steely Dan, as underrated as Harry Nilsson – Pearl Jam is the undisputed champion of the 1990 Grunge bands. That is what makes a band like Rearview Mirror-a Tribute to Pearl Jam so special. Every note must be perfect, each song a tribute unto itself.

St. Louis Public Library is bringing back grunge with Rearview Mirror on August 17 at 7 p.m. outside Central Library, 1301 Olive Street. The concert is part of the Not So Quiet! Concert Series Live On Olive.

Rearview Mirror has a simple philosophy they bring to every show: Pearl Jam is about still getting goose bumps when you hear songs that you have heard a million times, singing along to songs you know all the words to and feeling like it's brand new again, remembering how much one band has influenced your whole life.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax on one of the two grassy areas or sit on the steps of the Central Library while you drink and dine with The Urban Eats Café. Coolers are allowed but no cooking or open flames.

This is a free, all-ages show. No tickets are required but seating is first come-first served.

Not So Quiet! Concert Series is made possible by generous support from Plaza Advisory Group, Inc. and the St. Louis Public Library Foundation.
