All St. Louis Public Library buildings have expanded hours and services to the public, as of May 17, 2021.
The new service hours are:
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at Buder, Carpenter, Central, Julia Davis and Schlafly
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at Baden, Barr, Cabanne, Carondelet, Divoll, Kingshighway, Machacek and Walnut Park
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at Charing Cross & Marketplace
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday at Central Express
All time restrictions for the public have been removed and limited seating will be available. Individuals using a computer can reserve the machine for up to two hours.
Meeting rooms remain close and all in-person programming remains canceled.
Curbside Pickup, opens a new window service is available at all locations, excluding Charing Cross, Central Express and Marketplace.
Customers and Staff who are fully vaccinated may enter a library building without wearing a mask. Customers (5 years and older) and Staff who are not vaccinated are still required to wear a mask. Masks are available for those who do not have one. Customers and Staff are expected to practice social distancing within the buildings.
Staff members are screened prior to each shift for the protection of customers and colleagues. Advanced disinfecting and sanitizing methods are used throughout the buildings. Hand sanitizers are available inside each location. The Library is continuing to use federal, state and local recommendations and guidelines to protect our Customers and Staff.
