RBdigital eMagazines are moving to OverDrive!

On January 25, RBdigital eMagazine titles will move to OverDrive! This past summer, OverDrive acquired RBdigital. In September 2020, our eAudiobook titles transitioned to the OverDrive platform. 

Through Libby or the OverDrive app from OverDrive, you can continue borrowing, browsing and enjoying all the same eMagazine titles you loved in RBdigital!

If you have already been enjoying OverDrive and the Libby app, there will be no change, other than you will now be able to borrow eMagazines!

Will there be a lending period for eMagazines in OverDrive?
Yes! There will be a lending period of up to 14 days.

Can eMagazines be renewed?
Yes, eMagazines can be renewed. There is no limit to how many times you can renew an eMagazine. You will have the option to renew your borrowed titles 3 days before their due date.

Will I need to place holds on eMagazines in OverDrive?
No, all eMagazine titles will be available 24/7.

Will eMagazines count against my OverDrive checkout limits?
No, eMagazines will not count against your OverDrive checkout limits. In OverDrive, you can check out up to 20 eBooks and/or eAudiobooks at a time. There is no limit to the number of eMagazines you can check out. 

Will back issues of eMagazines still be available in OverDrive?
Three years of back issues will be available.

eMagazines have no wait lists or holds. You can download and read them on your device 24/7. Select from many popular titles, including The New Yorker, US Weekly, National Geographic and more!

The Libby app is available for use on Android and iOS devices. The OverDrive app is available to use on Kindle Fire, Android and iOS devices.
