Tribute Gifts
Your tribute gift adds books to the St. Louis Public Library collection.
A gift in someone’s name is always a meaningful way to honor or memorialize a family member or a respected friend or colleague, or to mark a special occasion.
When you give a tribute gift in support of the St. Louis Public Library, we will:
• send a card to your honoree or whomever you designate acknowledging your generosity
• place a bookplate recognizing you and your honoree in a volume from whichever library collection you select from the list below
• send acknowledgement of your gift to you
• recognize you and your honoree on our website and in any printed materials that list tribute gifts
* Please note: We cannot honor requests that bookplates be placed in specific book titles or Branches (materials circulate throughout the entire Library system). You may however select a Library collection from the following list for your bookplate(s):
Social Sciences
Science and Technology
Fine Arts
Children's
Fiction and Literature
History and Biography
One bookplate per $25 gift or increment.
Please let us know whether this is in honor or memory of your honoree. The name and mailing address of the honoree (or their family) are necessary in order for us to notify them. Please include this information when you make your gift.
