When you become a Friend of St. Louis Public Library (SLPL) at the Mark Twain level ($60) or above, one of the many benefits is the eligibility for an Out of Area Library Card.
Your Out of Area Library Card gives you access to SLPL’s impressive collection of books, ebooks, audiobooks, digital materials, databases, software, games, movies, music, and more!
How to become a Friend of St. Louis Public Library

Check the box saying “I would like an out-of-area card.”
Please wait 5-7 business days. As soon as we receive your Friends gift, we will begin processing your card application. You will receive your card in the mail along with your tax letter thanking you for your donation.
Using Your Out-of-Area Library Card

All Friends' gifts are qualified charitable contributions, per U.S. Tax Code section 501 (c)(3), and are tax deductible. Donations are not to be construed as a fee for service.
