| Scope and Content: | The collection consists of papers and photos regarding Catholic television and radio in the 1950s and 1960s. One popular Catholic television program during this time was Quiz-A-Catholic. It ran on KWK and was produced by the Archdiocese of St. Louis' Radio and TV Office. The show had a discussion format, which involved a guest priest and a panel (usually four individuals) conversing about questions asked by the host. Lee Cavanaugh was the host for the show and Jim Hennessey was the announcer. |
