Join SLPL's 2022 Adult Reading Challenge. Each month, complete the two reading challenges listed below to advance to the next month. Sign up online or stop by any location to pick up a reading log to track your progress. Once completed, return your reading log to any SLPL location.

Challenge 7: National Poetry Month - Read a book of poetry
Challenge 8: Celebrate National Library Week! Read a book about libraries and librarians.
Challenge 9: Moms - Read about the good, the bad and the funny
Challenge 10: Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month - Read a book by an Asian or Pacific Islander author

Every adult reader who finishes each month’s challenge will be entered into a random drawing for one of these prizes:
January: SLPL coffee mug
February: SLPL journal
March: Advanced Reader’s Copy of an upcoming book
April: SLPL notecards
May: SLPL tote bag
June: Advanced Reader’s Copy of an upcoming book
July: Cube of SLPL post-it notes/scratch pads/pencil case
August: Steedman notecards
September: Numbered Firecracker Press poster

January-May: Every adult reader who finished all the challenges will be invited to a cookie party/book swap on June 18 at Kingshighway.
June-August: For every adult reader who finished all the challenges, SLPL will give a child a book for their home library.
September-December: Every adult reader who finished all the challenges will be invited to a private tour of Central Library. Date and time to be determined.
