Photography Sessions
- Keep in mind that we are open to the public and there may be interruptions with people walking through the shot.
- Any loud or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave.
- The areas available are the SECOND FLOOR ATRIUM, OLIVE STREET FOYER (which includes the staircase), and the GREAT HALL.
- Additional rooms may be utilized as long as no patrons are disrupted
- No movement of books, furniture or Library property allowed.
- No accommodations are available for wardrobe changes.
- Access must be granted to library patrons - no entrances may be blocked
- If working in the foyer and utilizing the staircase only one side may be used at a time
- All photography equipment must be self-contained
- Please share equipment requirements and restrictions with your photographer prior to your scheduled session.
- No large or additional equipment or elaborate lighting setup is allowed. Small self-contained additional lighting is acceptable.
- Extra lighting and flash may only be used in spaces not occupied by library users at the time of the shoot.
Weddings
- ONLY the wedding couple, photographer and one assistant are allowed inside the building for photographs.
- Photographs of the entire wedding party can take place outside the building, as long as no entrances are blocked.
- If you are arriving on a party bus or limo, please note there is no alcohol allowed on Library property.
- Celebratory behavior is fine but exceedingly loud raucous disruptive behavior will not be tolerated either on the interior or exterior
- All participants should be made aware of this rule. Any group in violation will be required to vacate the premises immediately.
- Smaller groups may utilize the Entry Foyer (including the staircases) - Only This Area. With larger wedding parties you may do smaller groupings on the interior. This is limited to 8 people and the foyer area and staircases only. Do Not Block the free flow of library foot traffic.
