SLPL Meal Program

St. Louis Public Library and Operation Food Search are partnering to provide free summer meals to area children. Meals are available to children 18 years old and under.

The program runs from June 6-August 21 at the locations below.

Monday-Saturday 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
Baden Library

Monday-Saturday 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Carpenter Library
3309 South Grand Blvd.

Monday-Saturday 1-2 p.m.
Central Library
1301 Olive Street

Monday-Sunday 3-4 p.m.
Julia Davis Library (starts May 27)
4415 Natural Bridge Ave.

Monday-Friday 4-5 p.m.
Walnut Park Library
5760 West Florissant Ave.

According to Operation Food Search, one in four children in the St. Louis bi-state area goes to bed each night hungry. Many of those kids receive their only full, daily meal from school.

SLPL’s mission is to provide learning resources and information services that support and improve individual, family, and community life through a variety of services, programs, and initiatives. Partnering with OFS is one way the Library continues its commitment to this mission.
