Grupo Atlántico is an ensemble of folk dancers whose purpose is to share the rich tri-ethnic heritage (African, Indian and Spanish roots) of the Caribbean and coastal regions of different countries such as Colombia, Venezuela, Panama and Mexico! This high energy dance performance will include examples of different music, rhythms and traditional percussion instruments, as well as a hands-on dance workshop for all those in attendance. You won’t want to miss it!

Enter the graceful, rhythmic, world of Bharata Natyam! Dances of India has been teaching Bharata Natyam, the most prevalent style of classical Indian dance, to dancers in St. Louis for over 40 years. In this performance, explore and move along to the rhythms, colors and stories of classical Indian dance. Audience members will learn some basic hand and foot movements and perform along with the dancers!
