Acquisition info: The first accession (MA 90:09) came as a donation by Larry Weir on August 8, 1990.
The second accession (MA 93:10) of a May/June 1993 program guide came from Susan Wolin on September 11, 1993.
The third accession (MA uu:161) came as donations from Adele Heagney and also Frank Absher.

Custodial history: The collection was created in Special Collections in 2015. The first and second accessions were combined with the Airwaves issues mailed to the Media Archives (Fall 1990 – September/October 1993) to create one discrete collection.

Conservation notes: All items placed into acid-free folders and envelopes within an archival box. Metal fasteners have been removed.
Scope and Content: The collection contains papers, publications, ephemera and memorabilia of KDHX. Included is an incomplete run of Airwaves from 1983 to 2008. Airwaves is the the official publication of KDHX issued to members that contributed $40 or more annually to the station.
KDHX is a community radio that KDHX began construction in March of 1982, but did not go on the air until 1987. It broadcasts at 88.1 mHz. The station is licensed to the Double Helix Corporation. In 2013, KDHX moved to the Larry J. Weir Center for Independent Media (3524 Washington Avenue) after more than twenty-five years at 3504 Magnolia Avenue.
