General Questions
Yes. Outlets are available at many desks, workstations, and reading chairs.
From your wireless enabled device you can connect to the SLPL wireless network. There is no card number or password requirement. Simply connect, and you are free to browse the Web!

You are given a 10 minute grace time, after that, you will have to reserve another available time slot.
Customers can reserve a computer for 2 hours per day. Once those two hours are up, if the machine has not been reserved by someone else and no one is waiting for a computer, the customer may extend their reserved time.
SLPL computers have Microsoft Office 2016, Adobe Reader, Mavis Beacon typing software, Google Chrome, GIMP Photo Editor and Explorer. Computers in Creative Experience at Central include additional software. Click here to see what Creative Experience offers.
Yes. Visitors can obtain a guest pass to use a computer.
Visiting the Library? Walk up to any Catalog computer. Simply enter your card number and PIN to see the times and locations when computer are available for your use. Select a time and location that works for you, and the reservation is immediately made.
Not at the Library? You may reserve a computer online or the Library's Call Center will make the reservation for you. The Center will also cancel booking if your plans change. Contact the Call Center at 314-241-2288
