Guidelines

Photography Sessions
• Keep in mind that we are open to the public and there may be interruptions with people walking through the shot. • Any loud or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave. • The areas available are the SECOND FLOOR ATRIUM, OLIVE STREET FOYER (which includes the staircase), and the GREAT HALL. • No movement of books, furniture or Library property allowed. • No accommodations are available for wardrobe changes. • All photography equipment must be self-contained • Please share equipment requirements and restrictions with your photographer prior to your scheduled session. • No large or additional equipment or elaborate lighting setup is allowed. Small self-contained additional lighting is acceptable. • Extra lighting and flash may only be used in spaces not occupied by library users at the time of the shoot.
Weddings
• ONLY the Bride, Groom, Photographer and one assistant are allowed inside the building for photographs. • Photographs of the entire wedding party can take place outside the building, as long as no entrances are blocked. • If you are arriving on a party bus or limo, please note there is no alcohol allowed on Library property. • All participants should be made aware of this rule. Any group in violation will be required to vacate the premises immediately.
