SLPL Meal Program

St. Louis Public Library and Operation Food Search are partnering together to provide free grab-and-go meals to area children. Meals are available to children 18 years old and under every Monday-Saturday, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Julia Davis Library.

According to Operation Food Search, one in four children in the St. Louis bi-state area goes to bed each night hungry. Many of those kids receive their only full, daily meal from school.

SLPL’s mission is to provide learning resources and information services that support and improve individual, family, and community life through a variety of services, programs, and initiatives. Partnering with OFS is one way the Library continues its commitment to this mission.
