Storytime Theater: A Delightfully Gorey Tale for Tots

STORYTIME THEATER LOGOJoin us for a free, live performance with our professional actors as they bring the pages to life and introduce young audiences to the theater.

A Delightfully Gorey Tale for Tots follows two of the children from Edward Gorey’s “Gashlycrumb Tinies.” Basil is frustrated that adults ruin kids’ fun, and Amy convinces the nanny that there is no real danger in presenting these absurd stories since they are imaginary and their world pretends.

Utilizing physical comedy, clowning and audience participation, this story introduces youngsters to the world of Edward Gorey, Shel Silverstein and the joy of literary nonsense.
