St. Louis Public Library announces Storytime Theater

St. Louis Public Library announces Storytime Theater, a new, reoccurring program which will connect young audiences to the magic of reading.

Storytime Theater is a 45-minute program featuring a performance with live actors, costumes, props and a set. Each program begins with an introduction to the performances and ends with a craft activity, mirrored around the story.

Storytime Theater’s first performance will feature “MacTragedy!,” a whimsical retelling of one of Shakespeare's most famous ghost stories. “MacTragedy!” removes the fear-factor from the play and features not-so-scary witches, slapstick-comedy and ridiculous jokes.
