SLPL Buildings Temporarily Closed, Curbside & Walk-Up Services Available

Due to increased health concerns related to Covid-19, St. Louis Public Library buildings are temporarily closed. Curbside & Walk-up Services are available at 13 locations.

The decision to close and reduce services is a difficult one. The staff of St. Louis Public Library cares deeply about serving our community. We recognize that the Library and its many services are an invaluable resource. However, we view this as the most responsible path forward to support the health and well-being of our communities at this time. We will be constantly monitoring the situation and look forward to resuming important Library services as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we are offering Curbside & Walk-up Services at the following locations: Baden, Barr, Buder, Cabanne, Carondelet, Carpenter, Central, Divoll, Julia Davis, Kingshighway, Machacek, Schlafly, and Walnut Park. Click here for more information on that service and how to schedule pick up.

Please return materials by using our outside Book Drops at the locations mentioned above. Staff will quarantine all returned materials for 24 hours.
