SLPL To Close Buildings Temporarily & Offer Curbside Service

Due to increased health concerns related to Covid-19, the St. Louis Public Library will close all locations temporarily starting November 26 and offer Curbside Pickup Service at 12 locations beginning on Monday, November 30.

This is a temporary limitation of services, which Library officials will re-examine in a few weeks. The decision to close and reduce services is a difficult one. The staff of St. Louis Public Library cares deeply about serving our community. We recognize that the Library and its many services are an invaluable resource. However, we view this as the most responsible path forward to support the health and well-being of our communities at this time. We will be constantly monitoring the situation and look forward to resuming important Library services as soon as possible.

In the meantime, all items can be checked out and picked up using our Curbside Pickup Services available at the following locations: Baden, Barr, Buder, Carondelet, Carpenter, Central, Divoll, Julia Davis, Kingshighway, Machacek, Schlafly and Walnut Park.
