Yummy: The Last Days of a Southside Shorty

Yummy is...it's hard to explain, actually. It's a comic book about a kid who gets involved in gang violence. It is fast paced and a truly amazing book. The main character, Yummy, is just like you and me when we were little. We played and hung around kids our age. What makes him a little different though is how he was raised around so much violence. This book perfectly illustrates how someone so young could easily be molded into literally anything. Even a thug. It gets to the point where Yummy commits murder and now we have a kid, who likes cookies and toys, facing reality as if he were an adult. This book has even more than what I just explained. Also your personal experiences could possibly add to the power of the story. I really, really, REALLY, would recommend this to any reader out in the world. Anyone who has read it, would say the same.
