Your input matters: RFC

The US Patent and Trademark Office exists for the purpose of protecting your creative work, for the benefit of all, and they want to know what you think.

They ask for opinions on all sorts of topics, from fees to practice and procedure of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. The request for comments on patenting artificial intelligence inventions has been extended! Now you have until November 8 to share your thoughts on AI topics, "from patent examination policy to whether new forms of intellectual property protection are needed."

(If you read this early enough, it may still say that the comment period runs until October 11. Sign up here for email alerts that will inform you of changes before notices are published on the website.)
