It might surprise you to learn that nearly 300 million voter registration records are available in Ancestry Library Edition (Ancestry LE). Earliest coverage begins in 1538, and last year covered is 1996. Year ranges and geographic availability do vary widely (so it may prove helpful to keep your expectations low).
