U.S. War and Conflict Images, 1765-1970

This record collection in Ancestry Library Edition (Ancestry LE) contains approximately 1,500 images (photographs or illustrations) of scenes from American wars. Wars depicted in this collection include:

American Revolutionary War (1775-1783)
American Civil War (1861-1865)
Spanish-American War (1898)
Mexican Revolution (1914-1919)
World War I (1917-1918)
World War II (1941-1945)
Korean War (1950-1953)
Vietnam War (1964-1973)

Each image includes a caption and other information such as date, location, name of camera man/woman (if a photograph), and remarks.

Note: Some of the images in this record collection depict combat casualties or victims of atrocities and may be quite graphic in nature.
