You can search for particular individuals as you might expect,  but you can also do a general search for St. Louis city residents in particular time period:

Lived In: Saint Louis, Missouri, USA (Exact to This Place)
Year—Residence Years: 2001 (Exact)

It’s also easy to search for persons who lived in a particular zip code:

Lived In: 63147 (Exact to This Place)
Year—Residence Years: 2001 (Exact)

You can also search for people who lived on a particular street. The trick here is knowing how the street name will be abbreviated. “Lynfield Place”, for instance, is done this way:

Lived In: Saint Louis, Missouri, USA (Exact to This Place)
Keyword: “Lynfield Pl”
Year—Residence Years: 2001 (Exact)

Note: If the street name is fairly distinctive (like Lynfield), you can just skip the “Pl”:

Lived In: Saint Louis, Missouri, USA (Exact to This Place)
Keyword: “Lynfield”
Year—Residence Years: 2001 (Exact)

Telephone directories can provide relatively recent information about individuals when access to other common types of genealogically significant information is restricted due to ID theft and privacy concerns.
