The Infinite Sea

I read The Fifth Wave about three month before I got my hands on the sequel, The Infinite Sea. I am so glad to say I wasn’t disappointed. Like the first book, the sequel is from the point of view of multiple characters (Cassie, Ringer, and Evan). These three embark on different journeys full of action, adventures, and sci-fi mysteries. I enjoyed the timing of the point of view switches. Before I could get comfortable with one character, the book would change to another. This left small cliffhangers that kept me wanting to read on. I also enjoyed the drama between Ringer and Cassie, as well as the tension between Evan and Zombie. Moments between them serve as a reminder to readers that even in an apocalypse there are teens still with human emotions. Overall I would suggest reading this book for anyone who enjoyed the first movie or book in the series.
