The novel “13 Reasons Why” is about a teenager named Hannah Baker.  She was bullied throughout high school to a point where she committed suicide. Hannah recorded 13 tapes of the 13 reasons why she killed herself.  In the novel it shows bad parenting and unhealthy friendships that were misunderstood. In the novel she witnessed a rape and she was seen as an “easy” person due to pictures that were taken.  She also had many friends that she lost and opportunities that were also lost. Hannah was a really sensitive person that was understood.

The novel is good because it really draws the reader in due to the upcoming tapes.  I recommend this book to people who enjoy drama, romance, and morals. While reading this you will learn that everyone sees the world in a different perspective.
