This summer, St. Louis Public Library nearly doubled its summer camps, with free programs at libraries throughout the system for toddlers through teens. In Creative Experience, Cinema St. Louis returned for its seventh-annual SLIFF Kids film camps. This year, teens ages 12-17 learned about filmmaking and brought their ideas to life in Live Action, Documentary, and Animation camps. Check out excerpts of some of their work below.
This year, Creative Experience also hosted a special songwriting camp for younger kids. The latest episode of Your Library Podcast features an interview with Songshapers Endangered Species Project facilitator Mark Pagano and campers' songs about the Red Panda and the Leaf Scaled Sea Snake!
