Submission Opportunites

Trustees of the Robert Frost Farm Frost Farm Prize A prize of $1,000 and publication in Evansville Review is given annually for a poem written in a metrical form. The winner also receives a scholarship and honorarium to attend and read at the Frost Farm Poetry Conference in June at the Robert Frost Farm in Derry, New Hampshire. Deborah Warren will judge. Deadline: March 30th

Lascaux Review Flash Fiction Prize A prize of $1,000 and publication in Lascaux Review is given annually for a work of flash fiction. Previously published and unpublished stories are eligible. Deadline: March 31st

Gemini Magazine Short Story Contest A prize of $1,000 and publication in Gemini Magazine is given annually for a short story. The editors will judge. Deadline: March 31st

Winter Story Contest A prize of $2,500 and publication in Narrative is given annually for a short story, a short short story, an essay, or an excerpt from a longer work of fiction or creative nonfiction. A second-place prize of $1,000 is also awarded. The editors will judge. Deadline: March 31st

Bosque Fiction Prize A prize of $1,000 and publication in bosque is given annually for a short story or a novel excerpt by a writer over the age of 40. Jesse Lee Kercheval will judge. Using the online submission system, submit a story or novel excerpt of up to 5,000 words with a $22 entry fee during the month of March. All entries are considered for publication. Deadline: March 31st

Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest  A prize of $1,000 and publication on the Winning Writers website is given annually for a humorous poem. Jendi Reiter will judge. Deadline: April 1st

Poetry Prize  A prize of $1,000 and publication in Oberon is given annually for a poem. Gladys Henderson will judge. Deadline: April 3rd
