Make a Zine for Your Valentine!

On Wednesday, February 7th, the Schlafly Branch Library is hosting a Valentine's zine-making program from 6:30-8:30 PM in the auditorium. Join us in making Valentine's Day themed zines, and explore items from the zine collection that will be available for checkout. What exactly is a zine? A zine is a self-published work of small-circulation that is made of original or appropriated text and images, oftentimes made and/or duplicated with a photocopier. The library will provide the materials, and light refreshments will be served. Best of all, the program is free and open to all adults.

Check out this cool DIY Valentine's Day Zine tutorial from Design Sponge. Also, to see the entire zine collection (300 zines and counting), come visit the Entertainment, Literature & Biography department on the second floor of Central Library.
