Creating Business Cards in Photoshop Workshop
This workshop will guide participants through the process of designing their own business cards that can then be sent to a professional printer or printed at home. Our discussion and activities will center around basic concepts of typography and graphic design, as everyone creates their own custom card. There will be a great deal of creative freedom to try different layouts for horizontal and vertical cards as well as basic logo design. No materials or files are required but you are encouraged to bring high-quality digital files of logos or images that you may want to incorporate into your work.
Thursday 7/20 6:00-8:30 PM
Repair, Retouch, and Colorize Old Photos in Photoshop
This workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of photo retouching that are applicable to both digital and scanned print photos. Our activities will include repairing damage to old, adding color to black and white photographs, and other techniques if time permits. Digital work files will be provided, but individuals who would like to work on their own photos are encouraged to scan them ahead of time or arrive 15 minutes early to scan them at the Creative Experience.
No experience is necessary. Both workshops are open to Adults and Teens, and participants may attend one or both workshop. Advanced registration is recommended. (314)880-8593 or http://www.cexp.eventbrite.com for more info or to sign up. Walk-ins are welcome as space permits.
