H2O

H2O is a book I’ve read about three time now. It’s one of those books where you can think about what you would do if you were the main character. When contaminated water turns into a worldwide disease, what do you do next? Throughout the book Ruby does things she only thought about in nightmares. I enjoyed the realism and comedy. Though it sucks to admit it, I probably would be upset if I didn’t have my phone in hand through a fatal disease outbreak. So, I felt like I could relate to Ruby in many ways. Through all of this loss I love how Ruby and her stepdad, Simon, grow a close relationship. Ruby’s intelligence is tested in every way possible as she struggles to survive. She learns that tough times make tough people and she will never be the same. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy sci-fi, adventure, and comedy. I know they’d love it as much as I do.
