DD214, and Make It Snappy!

If you don’t know what a DD214 is, you probably don’t need one in a hurry. If you do know, however, and do need a copy of yours ASAP, you can now make use of a private company that is authorized to access records at the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) on your behalf, They can usually get a copy of the document in question to you in seven business days or less—much more quickly than the extremely busy NPRC could do it for you. Of course, it’s going to cost you—but the price appears reasonable if you truly need that copy ASAP.

Note: A DD214 is a separation from military service document that notes (among other things) length of service and character of service (honorable, etc.).
