limited hours and limited services. Since the coronavirus is still very much with us, we are proceeding with caution to ensure the health and safety of our customers and our staff, while still trying to provide the best service possible. Per the CDC guidelines, "keeping space between you and others is one of the best tools we have to avoid being exposed to this virus and slowing its spread locally and across the country and world." In terms of what this means for the GFC, thanks to our partner organization Candid, we are still able (& more than willing) to perform "concierge searches" of the Foundation Directory Online-Professional for potential grant money for your nonprofit organization, and will be happy to provide you with a link to FDO-Essential if you would like to do your own searching. Click here to go straight to the Google form that you can submit if you would like us to research possible nonprofit funders and email you the results. Click here to (re)read a GFC blog post from shortly after we started working from home - it covers a plethora of resources that are available remotely through the Library and other organizations, from the safety and comfort of your home. (Don't have wifi/a computer? The Library offers Chromebooks and wifi hotspots to check out.) The physical GFC library is available to browse in person, but (as mentioned above) the Library is also offering curbside pickup at most locations, so you can place a hold, choose your most convenient pickup location, and Library staff will drop your books in your trunk when you arrive!
Please call us at Central Library at 314 539-0357 or email Lisa Thorp at email@example.com with any questions. Please wash your hands, wear your mask when you go out (especially if you are coming to the Library!), be kind (to yourself and others), & be well.
