Cookbooks Around the World – Fish

On Wednesday August 7, 2013, between noon and 1 pm our Cookbooks Around the World Book Club met in the Central Library Book Club Room to discuss fish. Besides talking about the difference of farmed or wild fish, we saw what smoked mackerel and salmon are like. We talked about fishing experiences besides how to go fishing. With everyone having a different background, it was interesting to learn about different types of fish traditions (smoking salmon versus grav lox). Come join us to learn more about different foods and how to cook them!
