Beat the Odds with Your Ancestors!

Announcing a two-day expo on discovering your Germanic ancestors, featuring Professor Roger Minert (Ph.D., A.G.) and other experts who will offer tried-and-true steps to research success! 

Special topics will include deciphering records in old German script; learning various terms used frequently in ancestral files; historical use of surnames; status of our ancestors in their societies; "sleuthing" your ancestors as if you were a detective; and avoiding self-defeating strategies and mind-sets that threaten your ability to make discoveries.

This expo (co-sponsored by SLPL and the Germanic Genealogical Society of St. Louis) is free and open to the public. 

Dates: Friday & Saturday, March 27 & 28, 2020
