St. Louis Public Library - Renewing materials

Generally, you may renew library materials you have borrowed unless other customers are requesting those materials or you have already renewed them three times. (A few types of materials have more restrictive renewal limits.)

While overdue materials may be renewed, the usual overdue fines will be automatically applied to your account.

Items may be renewed in two ways:

Select MY ACCOUNT, enter your library card number and PIN. Click on the box next to the items you want to renew, enter your PIN again in the box provided, then click PROCEED. The new due date will show next to the title.
If you prefer to speak to Customer Service staff, you may call 539-0373 or your branch library during regular library hours.

Materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan must be renewed through that department. Call 539-0350 during regular library hours.

Electronic City Hall

Electronic City Hall lets residents follow the progress of pending city legislation as well as research past legislation from the St. Louis Board of Alderman, the law making body for the City of St. Louis.

The City Charter, Revised Code, City Ordinances, Board Bills, and Board of Aldermen meeting agendas are searchable by number, topic or aldermen.

Electronic City Hall also contains rules and regulations from the City of St. Louis Personnel Office.
