St. Louis, MO... The St. Louis Public Library is proud to partner with the City of St. Louis Comptrollerís Office, State Representative Karla May, Committee Woman Mattie Moore, and the League of Women Voters to present a special series of Voter Registration Days in honor of Womenís History Month.
The events will be held at select St. Louis Public Library Branches including:
March 23 Julia Davis Branch, 4415 Natural Bridge Ave. 3-5 p.m.
March 26 Carpenter Branch, 3309 S. Grand Blvd. 5-7 p.m.
March 28 Schlafly Branch, 225 N. Euclid Ave. 5-7 p.m.
March 30 Buder Branch, 4401 Hampton Ave. 3-5 p.m.
City of St. Louis Comptroller Darlene Green will be on hand for the March 23 kick-off event at the Julia Davis Branch.
Representatives from the League of Women Voters will be at each participating Library location to register St. Louisans as well as ensure that they understand the entire voting process (including knowing when they can vote and the proper ID theyíll need when they go to the polls).
Attendees will be able to view a special display about the historical achievements of women and voting in St. Louis as well as learn about programs and services the St. Louis Public Library has to offer.
