Library Fundraiser Featuring Charlaine Harris and Laurell K. Hamilton

St. Louis, MO... The St. Louis Public Library is proud to host a very special fundraiser to benefit the Library featuring two of the hottest authors in America, New York Times bestsellers Charlaine Harris and Laurell K. Hamilton. The event takes place on Wednesday, September 14 from 6-7:45 p.m. at Christ Church Cathedral, 1210 Locust Street (across from Central Library).

Charlaine Harris’ character Sookie Stackhouse is the star of the HBO television series True Blood. Laurell K. Hamilton is famous for her New York Times bestselling series featuring Anita Blake, a professional zombie raiser/supernatural consultant for the police.

This once-in-a-lifetime event is open to the public, but because it is a fundraiser you must purchase a book from Subterranean Books to attend. Here’s how it works:

*  Purchase a copy of Harris’ The Sookie Stackhouse Companion or Hamilton’s Hit List from Subterranean Books prior to the event (Price for either is $28). To place your order, call Subterranean at 314-862-6100, order online at www.subbooks.com, or visit the store in person. The deadline for purchase is 6 p.m. on September 13.

*  Bring the receipt with you to the event (It is your admission ticket). You MUST present your receipt at the door to receive your book. The doors will open at 5 p.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

*  All books will be pre-signed and available through Subterranean Books. The authors are unable to leave any personal messages, and there will be no signing at the event.

*  A limited number of pre-signed books will be available for purchase at the door.
