Graphic Novelist Matt Kindt @ Schlafly

St. Louis, MO . . . The St. Louis Public Library is proud to present local graphic novelist Matt Kindt as he discusses and signs his new books Revolver and 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man. The event takes place at the Schlafly Branch, 225 N. Euclid Ave., on October 20 at 7 p.m. Books available for purchase courtesy of Left Bank Books. The program is FREE and open to the public.

Revolver is a surreal thriller about an ordinary man living in two wildly different realities. He gradually realizes that he alone has the power to avert a series of apocalyptic events that have already destroyed one world and threatens to destroy another.

3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man is the tale of a man who literally stands head-and-shoulders above everyone else—and is still growing. The continuous growth caused by his strange medical condition brings a variety of problems as he becomes more isolated and unknowable. Kindt brings his innovative design and storytelling sensibility to this poignant work.

Matt Kindt is a Harvey Award-winning writer and artist of graphic novels. He has also been nominated for four Eisner and three Harvey Awards. His work has been published in French, Spanish, Italian, and German.
