St. Louis, MO . . . The St. Louis Public Library is proud to present an evening with author Heather Brewer. The program takes place on Wednesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. at the Schlafly Branch, 225 N. Euclid Ave. Brewer will discuss and sign her new book, Tenth Grade Bleeds. Copies of the book will be available for purchase courtesy of Left Bank Books. The event is FREE and open to the public.
In Tenth Grade Bleeds, Vladimir Tod finds that “High school can be so draining when you are half-human, half-vampire.” The evil vampire D’Ablo is hunting for the ritual that could steal Vlad’s powers. His best friend Henry does not want to be his drudge anymore. When months go by with no word from Uncle Otis, and D’Ablo shows up demanding the journal of Vlad’s father, Vlad realizes that having a normal high school year is the least of his concerns. He needs to act fast, and even his status as the Pravus will not save him this time.
In addition to writing, Heather Brewer enjoys devouring every book in sight and attending renaissance fairs in costume (and in character).
