Carondelet 100th Anniversary

St. Louis, MO . . . The St. Louis Public Library is proud to host an Open House celebrating the 100^th Anniversary of its historic Carondelet Branch. The celebration takes place at the Carondelet Branch, 6800 Michigan Avenue, on Sunday, July 13, from 1:30 - 4 p.m. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Eat cake and see exhibits about the Library’s history. Let the sounds of the St. Louis Ragtimers take you back to 1908. Meet John Wright, author of a new book on the Carondelet neighborhood (copies available for purchase and signing).

Featured speakers sharing in the event will include St. Louis Public Library Executive Director Waller McGuire, Eleventh Ward Alderman Matt Villa and Carondelet Historical Society President Ron Bolte.
