CITY LIBRARY’S APPEARANCE BY AUTHOR NTOZAKE SHANGE CANCELLED DUE TO FLIGHT DELAYS

Poet, author, dancer, lecturer, and black feminist Ntozake Shange was to make

a surprise visit to Carpenter Branch on Friday, December 21, 2007. The

event has been cancelled due to flight delays in New York.
