Authors Drago & Phillips

The St. Louis Public Library presents authors Holly Drago and Jill Phillips on October 15 at 7 p.m. The event takes place at the Machacek Branch, 6424 Scanlan Ave. The authors will read from and sign copies of their book, Hermann's Haunts: The Wines and Spirits of Hermann, Missouri. Books will be for sale courtesy of Left Bank Books. The program is FREE and open to the public.

Founded in 1837, Hermann has become the center of the state’s wine industry and is populated by more than 150 historic sites, B&Bs, and wineries. But it’s also populated by ghosts. The book explores the city’s most haunted sites along with a guide to the history and wineries of the town.

Drago and Phillips operate Ghostride Tours in St. Louis. The tours include history and stories about the cave systems beneath St. Louis, the ancient mounds, building histories, and the people who have inhabited them.
