Pageturners ’07 Off to Great Start

St. Louis, MO . . . The St. Louis Public Library’s reading club for adult and high school readers, Pageturners, is off to a great start and will continue through Saturday, August 11, at all St. Louis Public Library locations. This year’s theme is “Sleuth St. Louis,” and it’s a fun and rewarding way for readers to spend their summer solving the world’s many mysteries. Whether cracking the case with a good mystery, investigating the latest political bestseller, uncovering useful self-help tips, or discovering ways to have the best garden in the neighborhood, everyone can join in the fun at the Library.

To take part in Pageturners, readers should stop by any Library location and pick up a reading log to record the books, magazines, or audio books that they complete. Each person who signs up and completes the program by reading or listening to 10 books will receive a special reading certificate and a tote bag with the “Sleuth St. Louis” graphic. Those who complete the club also have the chance to win two tickets to a Cardinals baseball game and also are automatically entered into a Grand Prize drawing for a laptop computer and printer! Participants must be high school age or older and current St. Louis Public Library cardholders. No prizes will be awarded after August 11.

Remember—people who join Pageturners at the Library really do KNOW BETTER!

Pageturners is sponsored by the St. Louis Cardinals.
