Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Andy Taylor at Central Library
St. Louis, MO . . . The St. Louis Public Library is proud to host a panel discussion and book signing featuring three men with the business acumen to help businesses make their company’s customer service a top priority.
Kirk Kazanjian, author and entrepreneur; Andy Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Enterprise Rent-A-Car; and David Nicklaus, St. Louis Post-Dispatch editor and columnist, will participate in “Great Expectations” at the historic Central Library, 1301 Olive St., on Tuesday, January 16, at 7 p.m. The program is FREE and open to the public.
Kirk Kazanjian is a bestselling author of more than two-dozen books, a life-long entrepreneur, and former award-winning television news anchor and reporter. His book, Exceeding Customer Expectations, has been widely hailed as the new bible on customer service. It contains a proven formula for creating amazingly happy customers, forming important partnerships, developing an empowered workforce, increasing employee retention, and building a successful company.
Exceeding Customer Expectations is based on the operating principles of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which is widely revered for its best practices in customer service. By employing the strategies outlined in this book, Enterprise has grown into the #1 car rental company.
Joining Kazanjian at Central Library will be Andy Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Under his leadership, the company, which was founded by his father Jack Taylor in 1957, has grown to become the largest rental car company in North America.
Taylor began his career with Enterprise more than 30 years ago. He started working at the age of 16 in one of the original St. Louis offices, where he learned the business from the ground up. Andy Taylor’s philosophy for success is beautifully simple. Says Taylor, “Take care of your customers and employees, and the profits will follow.”
Program moderator David Nicklaus has covered the local business scene for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch since 1981 as a reporter, editor, and columnist. With his vast knowledge of business, the financial markets, and the economy, you can bank on him bringing out the very best advice from our guests.
